His love for the ocean began at an early age and eventually led him on an oceanographic expedition with Team Zissou to chart and document the recently-discovered Tanarian Hills, 18.642 miles below the Pacific Ocean. Inspired by his father and the sailing vessel Chiriga, he returns to cruising after a 6-year hiatus. Skipper Brady brings on deck enough savvy to make up for his crew's lack thereof, making them all feel safer. Sort of.

More or less the team mascot, but more supernatural. God is quite the little sailor: S. S.'  feistiest crew member! Unlike most felines, he wields a strong stomach and has become almost dangerously comfortable with the water.
